- Telehealth has played a critical role in ensuring the continuity of care for hundreds of thousands of Australian patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. These appointments allow patients to consult with their GPs over the phone. Our doctors are all performing face to face consultations with COVID prevention measures, however patients who are eligible, can request a phone consultation, instead of a face to face appointment. An out of pocket fee will apply to telehealth consultations and eligible telehealth appointments attract the same Medicare rebate as Face-to-face appointments.
- Please note that depending on the nature of the medical matter a physical appointment at the clinic may be required.
- You must be a patient of our clinic for this service. The Government restricts the Medicare rebate for telehealth appointments, and is only able to be claimed, if you have attended for a face to face with any doctor at our clinic in the last 12 months.
If you would like to book a telehealth appointment, please ask one of our receptionist.
Please understand that a telehealth appointment is not booked for an exact time. Your appointment will be placed into the doctors’ appointment book, and they will contact you in the course of their session. If this isn’t convenient for you, then a face-to-face consultation may be a better option.
