My Health Record is a secure online summary of your health information. You control what goes into it, and who can access it.
All Australians will have a record unless they choose not to have one.
My Health Record allows you and your doctors, hospital and other healthcare providers to view and share your health information to provide you with the best possible care.

Any information you wish to upload onto the record by your GP will have to be approved by you. This will be done during a consultation with your input.
